About Us
Dr. Kathy Anderson
is the daughter of Lillian Tlustos of Pierre, and the late George
Tlustos. She grew up in Pierre and attended Riggs High School,
graduating in 1972. She then attended both USD and SDSU,
graduating in 1976. Dr. Kathy graduated from UNL Dental School
at Lincoln, Nebraska. She has received advanced training in
orthodontics, cerac crowns and sedation dentistry. You may be
surprised to know that she is a Martial Arts Master with a 4th
degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in
Hopkido.
Dr. Chuck Anderson
is the son of Ginny Anderson of Pierre, and the late Maurice
Anderson. He grew up in Aberdeen, graduating from Aberdeen
Central High School in 1968. Dr. Chuck is proud to have served
with the United States Navy from 1968-1972. Following his
discharge, he attended SDSU and graduated from UNL Dental School in
1980 with Dr. Kathy. He attended the Misch Implant Institute. Along with Dr. Kathy, he has
extensive training in cerac crowns and sedation dentistry. He
performs oral surgery and works with dentures. Dr.
Chuck enjoys playing softball and has a passion for coaching his
sons' sports teams. He is an avid hunter, especially
pheasants and big game.
The Doctor's have five children. Father Tom, the oldest son, is serving the church in Aberdeen, South Dakota at Sacred Heart Parish. In his free time Fr Tom enjoys mountain climbing, snow skiing (hard to do in Aberdeen!), hunting and hiking.
The Doctor's only daughter, Kasey, is a lawyer and is employed by Kutec Rock specializing in Litigation in Omaha, Nebraska. She plans to marry in May 2009 to Jay Capellano of Omaha. She enjoys long distance running and completed her first marathon in 2006.
Patrick and Sara Tillman
of Pierre married in July 2008. They were high school sweethearts. Sara
recently graduated from hygiene school. Patrick is attending Dental
school in Lincoln, Nebraska. They are big "Husker" fans but
plan on returning to Pierre after graduation.
Kyle is starting High School this fall. His love for sports keeps him very busy. He plays football, basketball, and throws the shot put. He is part of the school band playing the trumpet. He also plays the piano and studies hard!
Charlie, our 6th grader and baby, loves to play basketball, baseball and football. He has drafted his father (Dr Chuck) in to coach his traveling basketball and baseball teams! He also plays the piano and works hard at school.
